Every Luton carries up to a tonne except the flatbed, and up to eight pallets on the longest bodies. What differs is how the load goes on and what it is protected from. The system offers the bodies that fit the load; ask for a particular one if the site needs it.
The everyday Luton. The curtain opens the length of the body, so a forklift puts pallets straight on from the side and long items go on flat. Body heights from 2.03 to 2.30 metres.
Tail lift available: say at booking whether there is a forklift at each end.
A closed body for goods that should stay dry and out of sight. Loads through the rear, with a tail lift for sites with no forklift. The body narrows to 1.90 metres at one point.
Ask for the box when the load must stay enclosed.
An open 4.2-metre bed for long items that will not go inside a van. Five and six-metre lengths of pipe travel on it when they are packaged for the road. The highest payload of any van in the fleet.

The system selects the smallest van or Luton the load needs, and tells you if a tail lift or curtain side is required for the site.
