Full loads
Enough freight to fill a trailer, collected from your site or your supplier.
Usually a 44-tonne artic
Full and part loads, machinery and regular runs on curtain-sided 18-tonne rigids and 44-tonne artics, from Doncaster to anywhere in the UK.
Up to eight pallets or 1,000kg travels by van or Luton and can be priced and booked online.
One-off loads and ongoing work are both welcome: full loads, part loads, machinery movements, repeat routes, scheduled collections and contract distribution. The vehicle depends on the load, the route, site access and how it will be unloaded.
Enough freight to fill a trailer, collected from your site or your supplier.
Usually a 44-tonne artic
Freight that does not require the full capacity of a trailer, matched to the load, route and delivery site. Priced as a part load.
Usually an 18-tonne rigid
Recurring distribution, scheduled collections and repeat lanes, agreed as a programme with a vehicle and a schedule rather than a price per job.
Priced as a schedule
Machinery that fits a curtain-sided trailer, and deliveries that have to meet a fitter or a crane slot at a set time. Tell us the window and the access at the far end.
Vehicle confirmed according to the load and site access
Curtain sides allow long, wide and awkward loads to be placed directly onto the bed. They are useful where rear loading is restricted or a forklift needs to approach from the side.
Vehicle choice depends on the load and the available access. An artic carries more; an 18-tonne rigid can enter sites with less turning space.

Part loads and restricted sites
7.5-tonne work is arranged with its own driver and managed by the same team.
Regular and contract work is agreed on the route, the frequency, the vehicle and the access at each end. Speak to us about recurring distribution, scheduled collections or repeat lanes, and we come back with a programme and a price.
Every haulage job runs out of Unit 16, Adwick Business Park, a few minutes from the A1(M) north of Doncaster. There are no regional depots, so where a load can go is a question of the mileage and the vehicle rather than of coverage.
Examples of loads handled by the fleet.
One fabricated pipework section, 5.2 metres long, roughly 400kg, on a timber cradle. Too long for a standard pallet and impossible to load through the back of a box van.
HGV work is priced on the route, the vehicle and the date by the people who run the fleet.
18-tonne rigid and 44-tonne artic work runs on the DH Courier fleet. A 7.5-tonne is arranged with its own driver.
Up to eight pallets or 1,000kg goes by van or Luton, priced and booked online.

Send the route, the load and the access at each end. Our team replies with the vehicle and the price.
